How often do we look for love and approval from the outside? We search for something to make us feel better, validated, or whole. But does it ever quite satiate what we are seeking?

When we bring presence to ourselves and connect with our love, we are nourished from within. When we unite our love with our creative current, expression flows differently. Something true is born, something closer to our essence, sourced from our connection to life.

When we use our hands, voice, and heart to create, with the intention to love, bless, and uplift, we are nurtured by our creative process. When we create from our love, we are filled with our own goodness. We are shown more clearly what is real. The creative act becomes generative, life giving, filling us up from the inside as it flows outward. 

When we express love, we ourselves are uplifted.  When we consciously create from love, our art is shaped with love. Our expression may change, it may not be what we thought. We are informed by our love as it moves through us. We are fed by our own love expressing in form. 

If we can experience ourselves as the givers of love, the bringers of the blessing, perhaps even as the blessing itself, what might shift in our art, our work, our lives? What could shift in our experience of creating? 

In my life time as an artist, I have found no better place to create from.

Weekly 2 hour Zoom classes include teaching, transmission, creative practice, and sharing. I will demonstrate within the practice of picture making (drawing, painting, mixed media), which is simple and accessible for many. 

For this series,  I am opening it up for varying modalities of expression. All creative practices are welcome.

If you prefer to sing, carve, dance, animate, write…you are welcome to come with the discipline of your choice.

No artistic experience necessary, just a desire to explore, create, and discover.
